12 bar help for a 929~~~~~
my bar on my 900RR is 12 inches long. i am fine with it but I heard that if a bar is too long it will be unstable while dragging. My boy is ready for a bar as well but needs some help with dimensions...... what do you all reccomend??

mine is somewhere around 11" wide.
Basically i bolted 2 pieces onto the subframe and then welded them together with a piece. I put the bar up against where hte tail ends (no space between teh bar and the tail) then i cut the tail down so my foot will fit in there. That makes the bike right on 12 when it's standing and i think it just happened to be about 11" wide at that distance out.
seems to work fine for me except i suck
