Re: 08-09 gsxr idle that can not be adjusted
since i got no replies to this which is prob good cause that's means I wasn't the only who didn't get this. So here is the low down of what I have tried so far and what has worked. First you can not do anything with the clutch switch so leave it alone. As this can cause a prob since easy pulls you can not mount the switch to but if you let it hang with a zip tie around it so that the switch is always closed it should work and I will find out soon. I know about this clutch switch because this was making my bike go ape ***** and couldn't figure out why since on my 07 taking the switch off was no big deal nut on the 08 up it make a FI code come up which is code 40- ISC. I thought the code was coming up because i fabed up this nice little idle adjuster and kept f'in with the idle. After i replaced the clutch back to how to was suppose to be everything is good. So in all you just have to take out the set screw and make and idle adjuster for the new gsxr's. If you guys need pics let me know cause i have this thing apart daily since I am trying other stuff with it.

Re: 08-09 gsxr idle that can not be adjusted
This is just a thought I had awhile back that instead of messing with the idle screw why not try a cruise control? Just wondering if anyone has tried it? I know it doesn't make sense to use this if you can get to the idle adjuster but for situations like this it might work and could be shut off quick when not needed. Here's a link to one I found on Amazon.
