Anyone stunt a 250?

I might be getting a Ninja 250 when I turn 16 because I'm cheap and can afford a 600. Just wondering if anyone already stunts a 250.

Are you planning on purchasing a new 250 on payments?

You can get a nice used 600 for the price of a 250

Yeah I'm trying to get a used 250 and pay in cash...I'm seeing them used for around $2,500 but I would love to get a 600 for that much.

Re: Anyone stunt a 250?

theyre actually really decent stuntbikes, ive had a 01 Ninja 250 set up as a stuntbike for five years now and everyone at the spot loves it. even with stock gears it clutches up easily because of the 1st gear granny gear.

it doesnt have the big wide rear tire but its an excellent lil stuntbike,
one thing ive noticed about stunting on a little 120 rear tire is that its really unstable when theyre new. when they wear so theyre a square shape they have soooo much more stability. every time i put a new rear tire on the 250, i do some long 2nd gear burnouts and square up the tire.

but yea itll cut circles and everything, i put a 15 up sprocket on last summer and its been even more fun. if you get a smokin deal on one get it.

a bad thing is that you have to remove the PCV (oil air vapor) tube from the bottom of the airbox and put it into a vented catch container so it doesnt fill the airbox at 12.

Re: Anyone stunt a 250?

I say get a 600 for cheap cuz you won't find many stunt parts for the 250. I got my first streetbike at 17. Worked my butt off at fast food places
