Sorry bro, but in my opinion, you are VERY wrong....
1)This industry has PLENTY of room for more than 5-10 riders...... Look at any sport that has gone from being frowned upon, to now mainstream.. Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Motocross (Freestyle and Racing) Etc...
They all have hundreds of people that are dope as **** at that sport and making A GRIP of money..... But you are right in one way... There are going to be a select few that are getting paid more because, well, like every sport, they will have more skill... But there will be plenty of riders making good money....
2)Why wouldn't the "Cake" be big enough bro? You think there are more riders than sponsors out there? If this sport does make it mainstream, ALL the sport bike dealers are going to be up for grabs... There are PLENTY of companys out there to be sponsored by, You just have to get out there and get yourself seen. No reason to stay on SL and hate on the people making it... Kane is the most successful "Sport Bike Stunter" out there right now.. The guy has put down a world record that I'm sure will stand for a very long time, and was the first to be sponsored by most big company's, for example: FMF, ECHO, PIRELLI, And of course the first to be sponsored by a factory motorcycle, KAWASAKI. I'm getting off subject, but point is, There is plenty of cake out there...... GO GET IT!!!!
3)Last but not least, I want to address "the biggest crock of **** I HAVE EVER HEARD"!!! And that is that you are trying to make everyone quit so that you can make it to the top? That's pretty sad that you would have to do that... Why don't you just go out and practice, get good as ****, and EARN the title as the "Best"

It was sarcastic jesse, he wasn't being literal about everyone quiting.... What we were trying to say is that all this bitching and moaning about nonsence makes it where people look down on the sport... so it's pretty detrimental to your purpose if your trying to mainstream the sport..... If someone thinks they can do it that do it... but check the chip on your should and attitude at the door. If you guys did make it big... any news writer or sports writer could pull up ol stunt life and look at some of the stuff you've wrote... "not all or you necc." but some people and ruin a career pretty quick.... just like that bong picture with that olympic guy. I'm not knocking kane or anyone ... to each his own... but if some one interested in the subject looked on here and seen all that stuff about him stealing a camera or what ever it would be a hay day for them.... it's all in the image and it's something that all stunt riders need to work on.... but then again i like the sport because of the image... i would prefer it to not go mainstream.... then everyone would do it and i'd have to find something else thats unique to do.... this squids addtional

Nah bro, never wanted you to think you had a chip on your shoulder i'm talking about some other bro's on here..... I like to sit and read some of this stuff... it's like they had to be beat as a child or something to come up with some of the horrible things they have to say... if some of that stuff ever came out of my mouth dear old grandma would turn over in her grave.

PS: l mean people talk about hate and hating on kane, but look at that kid Jorian or whatever his name is literally killing those combo circles then people have the nerve to talk about they didnt see any acros or endos I mean what type of **** is that? Thats some next level **** that he's doing so whats the point of doing some bs endos and acros that were being done in the 80's, just to say u did them?
I must be getting old or something, but when I go to a comp, thats what I want to see; people pushing the limit, I dont care if he falls 5 times during his run, because he's pushing it. I dont want to drive 8-10-12 or more hours to see safe bullshit endos & acros that my lil sister could do just to say you had a smooth run. cuz if thats what its about then everyones just gonna play it safe in their runs in order to win the money and people are gonna be bored as hell. Thats why the best part of comps are always the practice day and the practice area imo! money just **** everything up thats why the world is the way it is.

imo i agree with money shouldn' be involved with those stunt comps... mabey gas reimbursement or something.... i don't like this new image everyones talking about.... i'm not saying it's shitty or w.e. but i'm saying i personally like **** being well i guess shitty.... gives the sport more character kinda like a nice black eye....... shows your not the average..... but to each his own.

You didnt say it was impossible to tell by watching edited put together clips, because that's painfully obvious. If thats what u meant to say then thats totally different,
but what you actually said, which i refered to as being a crock of ****, was that you cant tell the better rider by watching videos of a rider, and thats simply not true, because watching unedited complete runs tells a great deal about the riders overall skill set. and you get to see many details which you can easily miss watching them live then you can pull it back, slow it down, watch them side by side,analyse different executions, techniques body movements etc. Its impossible to do all that without video, and im sure every rider looks at video of themselves and uses it as a tool to see where they fucked up or what they could have done better!

U sound exactly like the type of person im talking about. with blind dreams. I said it b4 all those sports u just mention got a market for their product, mainly kids. Thats who they're aiming for. The kids go out to the store buy their scateboards, snowboards, basketballs, bmx bikes, dirt bikes and all the gear that goes along with it. thats how companies make money, by selling products. The competitions are mainly just a means of advertising what they have to offer in a real world setting. Theres no product to be sold by stunting beyond it being entertainment, after watching a show, a kid cant tell their dad, hey dad i wanna go to walmart to get the sick x, y, z stuntbike and pick up a subcage and 3rd brake from the accesories department, thats the main diferrence between this sport and all the others out there. (for that matter the best stuntbikes arent even manufactured anymore so why advertise them? to help used bike sellers?)
The only market for stunt riding is and unfortunately will always be limited to stunt riders and the very few parents who may actually try to get their kids into it (and even with this market, not many people actually go out and buy some new **** to stunt on). So thats why there will always be limited investments by sponsors etc, sure they may kick a lil something to get their name out there, because its advestisement for them regardless, but if you waiting for the day that this ***** gonna blow up and get huge, then don't hold ur breath.
Me, I'll keep riding for fun, you go ahead and make it big, let me know how that works out for ya! just dont quit ur day or in ur case night job!
