So i'm looking around on kawasaki.com at the 09 zx6's.. and i notice the rear rotor is now 220mm(10mm larger than previous). So my question is.. will the new hotness be swappin over to 09 rear wheels/calipers? or possibly using a 09 caliper for a hohey four piston to eliminate the brake pad trimming?

Someone at Kawi has their head up their *** Cause the rotor is not any bigger....The rear rotor was 220mm on the 03/04, 05/06, 07/08 and 09....When I read that I was like WTF, looks exaclty the same as before...So I measured it and it is...

They never came with a 210mm rotor, and the 09 rotor is the exact same rotor since 2005.....Even the rear caliper bracket and caliper are the same...

But if you really want one I'll sell you mine off my 09....

Yes the 09 swingarm swap will be the same as doing it with a 05/06 or 07/08 swingarm...Same linkages, same shock, same wheel, same caliper bracket and caliper...

 

Hell ya, the 09 is sick looking, just bought a 07-08 swingarm for my 04, thank god i dont need to buy another hohey caliper bracket, but as soon as i find a 09 swingarm its on like donkey kong.

 

I cant wait to get my hands on one myself, I just got an 05/06 swingarm for my street bike. Hopefully I wont get into a bidding war with anyone on Ebay...I should have told you it doenst fit..
