I hear the rear peg loaction is awkward for standups, but an OMR subcage would fix that.

i still dont know why it blew up but its a fairly common issue on them i was luck it didnt cost me the motor it just cracked my case nd jb weld fixed it
im going to put myself out there and i might be wrong , but im going to guess your gearing is close to stock and you clutch up highway wheelies in 3rd gear at around 60mph

wuts the scoop, i stopped keeping up on new bikes and wut now after 06, i didnt realize the clutch had problems on the 1000rr

i had my gas tank replaced on the recall that came out.....

i was +5 in the rear used to clutch 3rd up alot at about 60 lol

its not a problem but its a fairly common thing to break. if you go on 1000rr.net. you will get alot of threads on it

personally the hydralic clutch is garbage it gets hot and engagement changes

they went back to a cable on the 08+ i want a 954 becasue i want to avoid the hassle
