Inside Edition TONIGHT!
Re: Inside Edition TONIGHT!
I love how they make it seem as if it's our fault the florida trooper died. It says he was responding to a report of motorcycle drag racing. responding to a report could mean he was miles away driving too fast to handle his cruiser and at his own mistake crashed and burned!
It's definately one sided mostly, but just as they're asking the public, should it be ok for us to profit off of endangering others? Well, they're telling a story that they want viewers(who aren't us, but the motorists we're endangering) to watch, and they're profitting from making it one sided.

You didn't miss much.. I watched it from that link and it was ghey!
typical fear mongering and creating a dangerous "problem" for ratings.
Even if someone wouldv'e presented them with a good argument for our case, they wouldn't have aired it. They wouldv'e taken it out of context and put a spin on it to keep their agenda. Someone needs to do a news story about the news stories being all biased and one sided and misquoteing everyone for thier benefit.
It's all borderline propagande anymore!! I'm talkin like **** that you hear about happening in countries where media is restricted and only out to brainwash the population.
I'll tell ya what. IMO ther is no more objective, unbiased opinions on TV anymore that honestly will look at both sides of a story and let the viewer's decide, unless it's on PBS....
Re: Inside Edition TONIGHT!
lmao...sdf is right **** your parking lot sport get a ****** job ryan....honestly people this "sport" will never go anywhere...if it does good for us, but really im a scumbag streetrider and i dont give a **** what the world thinks ..so one day when you haters actually make money stuntriding then we can talk.....we do these interviews for more exposure. we make money being ourselves and i could not give a **** what everyone else says. we make movies, do shows, are on tv and get paid. so watch it tonight and hate away!!!lol
Re: Inside Edition TONIGHT!
I hate to play devils advocate here, but the story was about how we (stuntriders) are making money off of doing these stunts that potentially put families and innocent motorists @ risk. The fact is, until this sport is 100% in the lots, it'll always have it's roots and that's the streets. 6 years ago, this sport was completely different and doing a circle was barely heard of.... but now there are a lot of people in PARKING LOTS ONLY. We can't bitch about it... I have to admit, I love rippin' up the streets once in a while but 90% of the time I do all stunting in a parking lot.
What Inside Edition was reporting on is pretty true, but the problem is they don't realize how much this sport has evolved. The point we need to make is we are making this sport much more mainstream, and way more responsible so people will respect it. The "outlaws" that hit the streets, well people need to know that the "stuntriding" core frowns upon that. Whether it's true or not is irrelavent, but if the rest of the world thinks we don't like stuntriders on the streets people will perceive this sport differently!
And PS... RecklessDan, if you think people aren't making money off of this sport you need to get a reality check bro. Enough to live off of? Maybe a handful. Enough to supplement their current incomes? THOUSANDS!!!

Re: Inside Edition TONIGHT!
the next time one of you guys actually get to be interviewed can you atleast mention making a place for us to go instead of constantly trying to defend the lifestyle. the news is gonna do what they like but if they really have that big of a problem with us hittin the streets then if we propose making us stunt spots then the people who are bitching about us on the streets will be like "hey ill vote for that". cause here in the south bay we cant even hit lots without gettin harrassed by cops or gettin our **** impounded

i don't expect the city to construct an area for stuntin but at least have the cops go easy on the parking lot stunters. a cop kicked a guy i know out of our lot just for the hell of it. when he said he didn't understand why he had to leave since we had permission, the cop wrote him up 8 citations. ******* cop must want us out in the streets. i hope he gets shot in the bunion!!!
Re: Inside Edition TONIGHT!
You seem to just be believing what you see...thats not reality of it...
We are making the video now of the RAW interview that day from Adrenaline Crew's camera's

Re: Inside Edition TONIGHT!
sweet! whens that gonna be up? you should send that un-edited clip to inside editions competition!!! see if they air it and actually put some positive spin on it. plus i doubt you will have to ask permission of inside edition since it was shot with AC's cameras
Re: Inside Edition TONIGHT!
If all stunters got their stories straight it would be all fine and well... but everytime the media takes a story and twists it around, Bob and Karen with 2.5 kids doesn't give a **** what you have to say on your DVD with the "Raw Footage". They aren't going to spend that money to see what we REALLY have to say. Bottom line, given the opportunity, you take it and give them nothing.
If a stunter is EVER on camera for a media outlet you need to only discuss how stunting has migrated from it's roots (The streets) to safe parking lots where we have permission from the owners and DO NOT want to endager families and innocent motorists. Anyone who stunts on the streets is considered an outlaw and those people are frowned upon within the stunting community!!!
If they ask a question you don't understand, or feel comfortable answering... it's real simple: "I do not want to comment on that."
Boom, done!
