so i get the call bout an hour ago from my brother, mom n dad are in an ambulance on the way to the hospital they just got hit its pretty bad, im still stuck at work waiting on my boss to get off. got a call back dads stable n moms still a mess in x-ray.
whats this have to do with us?
well, they were in moms new car driving down a 4 lane street in the right lane and its been wet here in norcal bay area, a lady in the oncoming lane decided she wants to make a turn middle of the street at the first gap she sees in cars, forget lane 2 just if theres a gap in lane 1 shes taking it. she did and blasts dad on the driver side and the rest is good ol bad to worse end result they in the E.R.
they were in a car whats that gotta do with bikes?
mom drives a new gold rav-4 which is well visable in the city and sits higher then passenger cars, if a lady hit them while they were in an obvious vehicle, then how much more so is it easy for one of you or me again to get hit, especially cus i was on a bright yellow 929 when i was rear ended.

yeah saturday i saw a lady with a child back into a car look around and pull off and wave at me as she did while she smiled.
is it over?
i'll wrap this book up but the world we live in turns, its garaunteed and its also assured drivers are getting worse and worse, watch your backs, sides, fronts everywhere, people aint usin car turn signals much anymore, looking even less before making the turn and just as quick to take off without caring. a lot of bike accidents are "user errors" but many more are simply considerable as "user victims" as results of road rage, not paying attention, driving careless besides you wanted to sleep an extra 20 minutes before work. i remember the 80's where u cut off the wrong bike the biker had a chain around his knuckles that was goin through your window, a few years ago your mirror got knocked off, hell, the person wasnt usin it anyways it seems. im not saying vigilanty justice needs to be reborn but we do just gotta work a lil more on watching for our own parts to cut down rider deaths... cus it sure seems not many other people are using their eyes where they should.

Firstly; I hope your mother is well?
Secondly; your absolutley right. The second day I had my bike, a guy ran a stop sign as I was in motion. I was able to lay my bike down and very little damage to myself and the bike was done. I live in upstate NY, but from VA, people here are in a rush to go no where. It's so dangerous out there. I have ALMOST been hit multiple times, mostly by the elderly. I hate drivers that have tunnel vision, especially bikers with it...... BE SAFE EVERYONE! Keep your head 360 degrees at all times!

vigilantie may be too strong of a word... its just a little wakeup. When a driver in a car tries to run me over I usually do the carbon fiber test. Will the carbon fiber knuckles break or the mirror? so far knuckles 2 mirror 0. my worry is after knocking the mirror if you don't get out of there pretty quick a car could be a very lethal weapon

I punched somones window because i was run off the road onto that little strip on the of the road before the dirt lol I swear the lady was so startled she almost jumped out her window when i punched it lol she had NO IDEA she even ran me off the road. I didn't break it (unfortunantly) but it was definanylt a wake up call for her!!!!

my regards to your family....and yea people are douchebags, and wonder why we get pissed when they cut us off etc..this one bitch cut me and my boy off one day, she jumped to the middle lane from a gas station, pretty much same scenario, we pull up and flick her off, and this gangster wanna be white bitch has the audacity to roll her ******* window down...and spit, SPIT on my friend..******* **** it makes me want to carry around a bag of rocks in my tank ready to propel through a window, needless to say, i hope she had fun taking her car to the body shop to fix the massive crater in her door...

I can't stand when someone is in the wrong and they act as if it was your fault! ROAD RAGE GETS PEOPLE KILLED!!! Too bad you couldn't have spit back! And Im sure the crater is still there.
