Skillz, thanks for your help before. I started the bike up and first thing I noticed is the fuel injection light is on so before running through what we spoke about I'ma see what code it's throwing and go from there. Time to bust out the manual

lol nope im keeping my helmet..already got friends willing to lend me their bikes whenever i wanna go for a ride..as long as i keep my license, i can deal. if they suspend my ****, im gonna be one bored mf'er. thanks for the luck though...friday the 13th..good thing i dont beleive in superstitions too much.

 

I wanna clear the codes before testing this bitch but I dont get what they mean when they say "repeat opening and grounding the lead more than 5 times w/in 2 seconds". On this 2nd page towards the bottom thats what it says and looking at the pic "B" isnt connected to anything. I get the fact that I have to keep "A" grounded and it looks like "B" just hangs out in the air. Also, it says to pull the clutch lever in more than 5 seconds. I dont have a stock clutch so would that matter? I know there's wires running to the stock clutch Any ideas I'ma test to see what code it's throwing in the meantime but I'd like to reset it and then test it to confirm wassup. Anyone? Bueler? Thanks

 

Blink codes suck. Try to remember the procedures for different engines and transmissions or chassis on a truck

I agree lol. That's what I said when he said he bought it used but I guess you could smell if it's really been put to use haha. I know I would never wanna buy a helmet from someone who sweats as much as I do when riding

Gonna check to see what codes the bike is throwing them I'm gonna disconnect the battery for a bit to see if it erases codes. Had a conversation with ***** and he gave me that idea but after reading the manual it doesnt look like that will clear the codes. The way it sounds in the manual is that old codes are stored in the ECU but either way I need to jump it to see what codes it's throwing now. FML. I just wanna ride. Buying this bike was the worst possible decision I could have made. Havent really rode at all this summer like I wanted to

 

The thing is, most people don't ride. I'd never buy some stunter's used helmet
I've picked up my last 3 helmets used, and they have all still smelled new. My current one was this dude's spare passenger helmet.

 

In that case it's a different story but yeah buyin a stunters helmet haha nah. If someone came to buy my helmet they'd probably run from the funk comin from that thing ewwwwww

 

I went to pick one up that was like that. I was like dude, these pads are seriously ******* crusty (my own helmet doesn't even have that), you told me on the phone it was in great shape. I don't even know why I even bothered discussing it with him, I wouldn't have taken it had he gave it to me.

 

word, i think i'd have to pay someone to put my helmet on lol.

I just found my tip sensor which Inolen bypassed for me. I think I'ma disconnect the wires I soldered and hook it up to see if I still get the same code. Then tomorrow I'll see if the bitch overheats on me since it's late and I dont wanna run the bike for too long right now

 

Actually I'ma wait til tomorrow and work on disassembling some other **** to get ready for Furious finishes this weekend. I'm so happy I picked up that other bike. I just wish I had a running bike that I was confident with right now Hopefully it dont overheat and I can ride tomorrow coz Ive rode probably 3x this past month

i only wear 800 dollar helmets, but i dont pay 800 for them

i got my new arai tommy gun rx7 corsair for around 400 or so too (for the streets), but i got a used one for the lots for around 175.
