03/04 636 Tip sensor question for those w gauges
Where you Kawi guys at? I hooked up gauges for the first time on this clapped out turd of a bike I bought after it tried to take me out for the 2nd time.
I'm getting code 31 (3 long blinks 1 short blink) which is the vehicle down sensor/tip sensor. The tip sensor was in the way since I have my key mounted right next to there which is where I think most Kawi people put there keys when they relocate them. So rather than pulling out the inside of the tip sensor and leaving it in there dangling, I connected the 2 out of the 3 wires together like you would on an F4i. Just checked and I connected the Y/G & B/W wires. But now it's throwing the 31 code. But now it's throwing the 31 code.
Just wondering if anyone else bypassed their TOS this way and if you have gauges are you getting the same code? Also wondering for those who bypassed their TOS by ripping out the inside of it (or however you do it) do you also get codes? I'd like to keep the TOS off the bike but I also wanna start running gauges since my **** overheated and the hose exploded and burned my foot so if I gotta bypass it the other way I'll do that on the new Kawi I'm building up. Appreciate any help/info

Question answered on StuntRide.com. The transformation has occurred. Stuntride definitely gets more activity now than SL.
