enlighten me, what is that nags....

 

I'm just going by my "personal friends".. Not what I've read on Stuntlife or heard from a guy that knew a guy. And I have 1 friend that broke 03-04's. And 3 friends that snapped 05-06's and one friend that caught his days before breaking.

I'm not saying the 05-06 are better or worse, but just going by MY friends.

In conclusion, I PERSONALLY wouldn't feel comfortable on any of the years

 

so who are these 4 people that broke 05 06

 

Ever balance a pool cue on your finger? Its easier to do with the heavy end at the top.

i know for a fact the 05 06 are thicker then the 03 04 and i have seen every type of fork break but the 03 04 break just from doing stoppies

 

I'm not saying they're not thicker or not better.. Just saying that I know people have broke both

 

why is it a secret ? if you know 4 people that have broke them then i would think you would say who they are and how they broke to try and convince more of your friends to not do stoppies on them , i mean this is the first time i ever heard you say you knew four people that broke them ......if i knew there was an unsafe part on your bike i would go out of my way to let you know about it

Actually, now that I think about it.. I'm almost positive Tony had to tighten his at one point because they started to leak. I could be wrong on that one though or thinking of someone else

 

i want to change mine cause when i try to snap the bike up fast it bottoms the forks out and i have thicker oil and have all my settings 1/4 from all the way hard , my 03 04 forks never bottomed out even with the stock oil in them

 

no telling what those forks went through but i have seen every kind of fork break
