race railz install

Hey all i just got a pair of race railz off of ebay for my 2003 zx6r. The below pic is the hardware it came with (long rear bolt not pictured). I was wondering if these bolts are the right size?? they look a little long to me but i have not done this before either...
and where does that bushing go (the silver piece?)
what about the rubber pads? where do they go?

Re: race railz install

if it doesnt tighten up go to the hardware store and get the different lengths. How are we supposed to know? If your bolts the size of a lighter will work on your bike, with unsaid brand of race railz....I rock steel innovations brand race rails for stunting and they work just fine.

Re: race railz install

That looks right. I wanna say the long bolt is for the right side. The pads go behind the rails where it butts up to the frame toward the rear.
I hope your a gangster or good at making saves because the stator cover will still hit.
I had those on my last 03'
Those are powers btw

Re: race railz install

Why would you ditch an SI cage to run Powers race rails?

Re: race railz install

the reason i would be getting rid of my SI cage is i just got new fairings and dont really want to cut a hole in them! I was looking at the speed freak motorsports cage and that looks like the best bet. Dont have to cut a hole in the fairings and i think it looks better than an SI...

does the bushing go in between the rail and the frame or what? still confused on that piece

Re: race railz install

between the rail and the frame on the front left motor mount bolt.

how much for the fairings? Dont throw out some stupid price like your charging more for a used cage than a new one.
