i got a good deal on a rear sprocket but have a few questions about it. it going on a 2000 zx6r its going to be -1+22 how long of a chain do i need. and can a 525 chain be run on a 520 sprocket. thanx for any help

 

I had a 99 went up 20 to a 60 and down 1 to a 14 and got a 130 and cut off a few links if I remember correctly, quit some time ago. Yes 525 will work on a 520 sprocket done it myself with no problems, I asked OMR a while back and he said it was a go.

A 525 Chain will not line up with the teeth on a 520 sprocket. They are 2 different pitches. I have never seen one line up correctly and if it does slightly line up your teeth will wear much faster on the sprocket.
