C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
I don't come on here and endorse many companies at all, and I don't break subframes. I don't get ANY free parts from anybody and I don't say that something is a quality product if it's clearly a Bunk piece of shiznit.
That said - Dave is a straight up dude that loves riding bikes, all bikes. He has alot of good ideas and makes sure that Goons like T-Neck beat the everliving **** out of his parts before making them available to the public. The guy is NOT trying to make a quick buck on the stunting industry - he's fabricating parts that are Necessary to cure common problems that plague riders who choose certain bikes.
I don't even have a cage on my bike right now... cause I don't see the need to drop 2 bills on it when I really don't push it and try tricks that will cause me to crash. However if I had a 05-06 636 or an R6 and needed a subframe - you can bet the family farm that I would have no qualms about handing Dave a stack of paper knowing that quality parts were coming my way.
This is just my opinion. I've known and ridden with DC for nearly 4 years and he's come a long way as a rider and a parts fabricator. I've never met a single person that has a bad thing to say about him.
If you don't like the price - keep buying and breaking stock subframes or just stop Gorilla Scraping your **** like it's 2002 and you're on a Big Body Gixxer.

Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
The R6 subframes are done and being made every day. Found out how to put pics up on this sight.
The 05-06 636 Sub is 90% done then about a week two make the jig and about another week to get the steel and everything to make more. So About 2 WEEKS and you all can start ordering. Got to get them right so it takes time. SOON SOON
I will be off to XDL indy and then as soon as i get back will start the work on the 08 kawi 600.
WHAT BIKE SHOULD I MAKE A SUBFRAME FOR AFTER THAT???????

Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
i got one question about your subs man ok im a metal fabricator by trade, and i know your metal is only as strong as the weakest link ... not lets think about this your frame is alluminum subframe is steal so if you do slam it back, your right you wont break your sub frame but you are more likly to break your frame mount.. have you looked into that at all? not knockin them at all looks like you did a great job i was just wondering is all Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
the renthal twin wall's with the cross bar removed, chararmichael low bend...its actually a lil lower and straighter then his pro taper bend...they somewhat limit how you can run you handbrake setup or so ive been told...lol i dont seem to have a problem with them and there 2x as strong as protaper
look where the brake masters clamp to the bars

Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
its true if snapping f4i subs is a problem then maybe you sould rethink the whole stunt riding thing lol
but seriously make them for the bikes that need them i.e.new gixxers, 05 and up zx6's and 03 and up r6's and then after that maybe think about some others but those first few are the ones that r needed by the stunt community

i have a f4i and i basically have broken and cracked almost every weld on the subframe... due to improper tightening of the subframe bolts... seems like everytime i ride it the bolts loosen up even with locktite on em... i forgot to tighten them a few times.
