C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
hey guys thanks for the good replys. To the people with the 03-04 636 and 01-03 f4i I was told that you would never need a steel subframe for this bike because of how strong the stock one is. Is this not true.
Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
its true if snapping f4i subs is a problem then maybe you sould rethink the whole stunt riding thing lol
but seriously make them for the bikes that need them i.e.new gixxers, 05 and up zx6's and 03 and up r6's and then after that maybe think about some others but those first few are the ones that r needed by the stunt community

Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
great product, but remember this... the stronger you make the subframe, the more likely to break the frame mounts that hold it. something has to give in every situation. the stronger you make one part, the weaker the part attached to it becomes. this problem has been argued about for years ever since people started making 12 bars and crash cages.

Yes I have taken all this into my subframes The sub will give way before you brake the frame mounts it has been engineered that way. Like i said I have not just slapped so steel together like others have. The subs are all out the best.
Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
your subs are
heres an idea for you and you've allready probably been hit up on this,
how bout incorporating a round bar or 12 bar to your subframes just an idea.
try to get some feedback on that and see where it goes

Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
ya I dont want to do that because as my subs are right now they are a stock replacement. That means any bar that will fit on a stock sub will fit on my sub. This is so if you start with lets say a 12 bar and you want to change that bar to a round bar than you are not stuck with a bar that is made into the sub. And spending more time and money to make a bar into the sube would just make the sub more expensive. Plus anyone with a stock bike can use my sub also because it fits everything stock. Anyway thanks for the feed back I do like your idea but Im just kinda stubern lol. well thanks again.
Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
I don't come on here and endorse many companies at all, and I don't break subframes. I don't get ANY free parts from anybody and I don't say that something is a quality product if it's clearly a Bunk piece of shiznit.
That said - Dave is a straight up dude that loves riding bikes, all bikes. He has alot of good ideas and makes sure that Goons like T-Neck beat the everliving **** out of his parts before making them available to the public. The guy is NOT trying to make a quick buck on the stunting industry - he's fabricating parts that are Necessary to cure common problems that plague riders who choose certain bikes.
I don't even have a cage on my bike right now... cause I don't see the need to drop 2 bills on it when I really don't push it and try tricks that will cause me to crash. However if I had a 05-06 636 or an R6 and needed a subframe - you can bet the family farm that I would have no qualms about handing Dave a stack of paper knowing that quality parts were coming my way.
This is just my opinion. I've known and ridden with DC for nearly 4 years and he's come a long way as a rider and a parts fabricator. I've never met a single person that has a bad thing to say about him.
If you don't like the price - keep buying and breaking stock subframes or just stop Gorilla Scraping your **** like it's 2002 and you're on a Big Body Gixxer.

Re: C4-revolutions Subframe Talk
The subframe looks really nice. If I had issues breaking subframes i would definitely buy one of these. The only people that i can see hating is the broke asses that still live at home off mommy and daddy. You can take yo asses to the bike parts for sale forum.
