Learning to turn?

I'm new to riding street, about 6 months. I can clutch it from a stop and go almost to an idle. Every once in awhile I make it to idle. I am using allot of rear brake. I'm fighting the bike so much just to stay up that when I lean. It just starts rocking back a forth and I have to set it down. Any tips to turning. and what tricks should i learn next. I just started riding spreaders and highchairs (but not far).

Re: Learning to turn?

You need to have idle control and overall speed control locked down before you can try to turn. The wobble is because you are at bp trying to force it, think of it as a one wheel high side. You are pushing out of them. Personally, I suggest you get idles on lock, and recruit local help via regional forum........ Way easier to ride, practice, and learn in person than cloggin up the main forum........

Not busting on ya man, but its more complicated than a simple answer if you ask me.

Re: Learning to turn?

Hey I don't want to waste anyones time. I'm really just trying to learn. I have not met anyone that lives around Turlock who stunts. Except the people I ride with, which I am better than so it doesn't help. My problem is I cant stay straight enough. Do I lean my body off to the side or do I push with my feet. Do I turn the bars at all. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.
