Its not too bad really. I rode for a few miles and my friend has put around 700 miles or so on it. Does not have too much power buts its really really smooth delivery. Everything is top notch quality. Nothing feels cheap. The suspension is non adjustable and its set really soft, but it does not keep anyone from using almost the entire rear tire. Ridiculous easy turn into corners by the way. Tracks clean, no weaving in corners and the front feels planted even with my fat *** on it. Very confidence inspiring.

Thought about getting one for awile, but figured it was not powerful enough and a waste and bought a zx6r instead .:YEAH

and she kills a 150r, me and her dad are getting her a street bike so im just looking for something she can handle. so who really has good input on these kawi 250s

there is a guy on here that swaped the front end to a 636 on the 07 08 250.... him and kane were talking about it.. he said he loves it

 

would make a dope learner bike for a girl! Probably about the next step up from the 150r in size/weight, but a little less power so she'll have to get used to that.

Dammit Son! Nags just got one too... I'm jealous.

I wanted to get a Ruckus, but Nags has steered me to the Zuma... aka the "GSXR1000 of Scooters" (Yes a direct quote from the Nags)

 

so zumas are fast, but complete trash?

yeah the zuma is way better then the ruckus for sure. i got blocks son!!!

 

Ive had a Zuma for 3 or 4 years now. They are awesome (only Yamaha I would ever ride)

 

I think they perform great. My girlfriend picked one up and I take it out every once in a while to work. I love it for just cruising to work and back. Of course its not fast but for a 250 it handles pretty good, Completly different than the older 250s.
