bike stalls in stoppie?!? WTF?
when I do a stoppie my bike dies about 80% of the time. I have an 02 F4i. The tip over sensor is disconected. It is really pissing me off. I already searched for this problem on another thread but cant find it. Help me please....

ryan it is an f4i -fuel injected- what air box mod?? tank is full of gas but it do have a deep dent. air filter is clean, fuel filter and plugs are clean cause I had the bike apart earlier this season and replaced them. It is worse with higher stopies, and the battery terminal has never been a problem before but i will cheak it out. Also when I go to restart the bike it kinda takes a lil bit and I got to twist the throttle and coax it to run smooth again. another thing is I dont have a temp sensor hooked up... just got my fan hard wired.

I'm tellin ya buddy.... your running out of gas! It happens to me all the time.
When your up in a stoppie the gas all runs to the front of the tank away from the fuel pickup.
That's exactly why it's hard to start after.
BTW.... air box mod will have ZERO affect on stalling out in a stoppie.

check the wires on the harness that plug in to the fuel pump relay. Mine was doing it until it cut off for good and the red wire wire had somehow been pinched in half.
Re: bike stalls in stoppie?!? WTF?
def gonna say low fuel here my 02 f4i did the same thing to me. it would run good till about half way threw the day then outta no where do a endo andit stallls or boggs. would have to do same thing as u rev it a little to get started and everythin deep dents suk for that reason u hold alot less fuel than u think and if its to deep i found out the guy who did mine bent thpik up on the fuel pump which was another one of my problems
