yeah it seems pretty hypocritical, but you know, I've taken mad heat on here for the crime of... ? not sure what.

there's a difference between not taking someone's crap, and treating other people poorly.

Re: stunters looking for sponser. contact me!!

Its funny that someone comes on to this site openly inviting riders for a new sponsorship opportunity and can't get anything but flak from people (with a few exceptions, Ryan S...)

I recently sponsored a WERA racer on another forum. I had about 10 applicants in just a few hours. For a new company its not always about who is the best, its often about who shows great potential to represent your product and your company.

Still havent answered what you do excessa....?

And before you go jumping off the deep end, im not trying to instigate or harp on you. Just wondering exactly WHAT YOU DO.....

I mean, what kind of stuff do you market? Riders skills? Riders Bio's? Their wealth or clothing that they wear?

Honestly, what is your main objective to getting up and working everyday?

My main objective is to get sponsors for riders.

I market their skill, their competitive placement, their looks, their attitudes, their professionalism.

I convince people that they can trust their corporate reputation to my clients, and I sell them a relationship. I develop my clients brand.

I'm not a booking agent, I'm a marketing agent.

Why do you guys feel entitled to disrespectfully push me for information about my company? The riders I have signed asked me to do this, so why do you guys, who have nothing to do with it, feel owed an explanation?

Well, so you know, I don't party much, and that cop is fucked. NINE witnesses working on a road crew nearby saw what he did to me. The cops, as hard as they tried, could not convince one witness that the attack was justified. I have been permanently disabled by his actions. I was committing no crime at the time.

I can never ride again. I can never lift more than ten pounds again without risking permanent spinal nerve injury. He almost broke my neck, the only thing that saved me was a titanium plate already affixed to my C Spine. the extreme pressures destroyed the disc and nerve tissue below the titanium. When my clavicle broke, the leverage force was my face on the ground and my neck took to brunt of it. My clavicle snapped like a stick. He had me cuffed the entire time. I was no threat. and nine people saw what he did to me.

Back to Business:

The sponsors I've been speaking with are mainly from the textile, oil and entertainment industries so far, but I intend to pretty much just meet everyone I can in this world and take the time to tell them that their brand could benefit from being associated with pro stuntriders.

My stunt clients came to me and asked me to market them, not to other stuntriders, but to corporations. not on stuntlife, but in person.

Two years ago, when I started, people came out hard against me, demanded to know what I was doing, and who I had been talking to, then contacted those people to talk **** about me.

I didn't know any better than to reveal too much. Now I play my cards closer to my chest.

If you volunteer an opinion, I'll probably listen, give it some thought and respond with a well reasoned reply. Not a demand to know where you work and your bosses name. because I have manners. I will assume you are entitled to your opinions, rather than behave as if you somehow can't possibly know anything and are not qualified to speak to me.

I get frustrated with this atmosphere sometimes. The arrogance and discourtesy is not appealing, and I've dealt with a lot of it.

Kinda in agreement there...i think ppl are just curious as to what you do...not that since u opened a business in the scene that you now all of the sudden owe them explanations. They just are interested..no harm there..

I hope you can see that some people are interested, and some people are just being insulting. And I'll try to look at it more objectively too.

I'm glad some people are interested and I am suspicious of some people's interest. I've already been burned by this kind of conversation.
I've been through this more than once. It gets old and I lose patience.

I do not accept applications, I offer representation to riders based on my own research. I don't advertise. I seek relationships with sponsor companys who have the same ethics as my own, as revealed by researching their companys. There is no need for me to put a lot of info on stuntlife. and past experience has taught me it's not a good idea to give stuntlife too much information.

Re: stunters looking for sponser. contact me!!

yea we all agree. no one after reading ten pages of responses from excessa still have no ******* clue what you do.

you talk in circles and with very vague descriptions.

why don't you show something tangable that you have done....for example say you landed a sponsorship deal with FedEx for Dan Jackson. that would be an example of what you do.

or at least if you "market" riders why don't you tell us some of the riders. **** if I was having some one market me I would at least want them to get my name out there.

again you don't owe us any thing we are all just curious. because you ramble on for pages about stuff or people you are going to or trying to promote. but no one understand what the hell you do hah

Presently I'm carrying the MV Agusta race team Fast by Ferracci, Chris McNeil, Nick Brocha, Ernie Vigil, Brian Bubash, Luke Duke, Abe Moru and Dan Herz.

My sponsor client list is not public until the contracts are signed and then we'll do press releases. Budget season is right now. I have no way to predict how many of my sponsor kits will get awarded contracts. I hope all of them.

Oh, forgot one, I think I'll be carrying Alex Flores also if he gets me that contract back.

He's a great rider, and he'd be an asset to my company.

Re: stunters looking for sponser. contact me!!

It would be easier on me if you guys were more objective too. A lot of this attitude I catch from people, I don't even see where it is coming from. I am not trying to "act like" whatever you insulting thing I often get thrown at me.

I'm learning about your sport, and finding it has a lot to it. two distinct industries sharing a power vaccuum. I'm learning marketing formula, too.

this is not something I can sum up in a couple of sentences, it's a bunch of new stuff I'm learning and applying as I go. It's not one thing I "do" it's an accumulation of things, and it has kind of taken over my life. It is my career, and it's what I want most, to build a solid company and leave it to my kids.

It's not just hard to sum up, it's easy to get mad over, because it's important to me.
