Re: all ***** bearings

if you get a 954 triple you will not have to change the races on the triple. just the ones in the neck of the frame.

again
929 = ball bearings

954= roller bearings

Only the early 02' 954's were tapered rollers. They recalled them mid year 02' to replace w/ the *****.

Tapered rollers are not worth the hassle on a stunt bike.... what's the point? You're just going to dampen the steering down again anyway.

Go with the all ***** and be done quick and easy. You don't even need the races w/ the kit... just the bearings. The 954 stem I'm sending you already has a brand new ball bearing race pressed on it.

All you are going to need is the upper and lower bearings, and the upper race (and the frame races as well if you wanna change them.... that's pretty easy).

Lemme know if you have any other questions on the install buddy.

I disagree. Use the roller bearings. I have them in my f4i and they rock.

niner the roller bearings are way over rated i had both and there is no big noticeable difference. plus he does not seem to know how to pop off the races and switch them out.

For the same price I'll take the rollers over the ball bearings everytime.
If he can't figure that out then he shouldn't be taking the entire front end off his bike anyway.

What's the advantage you're getting from them? Quicker steering.
