1000rr question

anyone know if any year 1000rr motor will go into an 05 1000rr? Theres a few 06's on ebay but no 04-05's.

i've been told the frames are the same,so i would imagine that if you swap everything it should work

I think the bikes are basically the same, arent they? I know there is a few pounds and a few horsepower, but the frame is the same......

I don't know if the ECU needs to get swapped or not. I'll ask my mad scientist.
