the first time you swung your leg over a streetbike? and i want a story or somethin(even if it isn't true) not, just some"i started ridin at 15"

i'll start...
i used to ride on the back of my dads bike when i was like five, but i guess the first time i rode one was 12 yrs. old. i used to wait till my dad went to work and ride it in the yard. got goin...oh about 60(showin off for my girlfriend and her friend), did i mention we only had an acre of lawn then woods. to make a long story short..locked the rear up on wet grass..wasn't stoppin...grabbed a handfull of front brake and... yes...over the bars i went. never looked back..been riding ever since

Re: how old were you?

my dad had a car dealership and I threw a leg over a 954 he had in the lot when I was about 14 I think. I then got my first street bike at 16.

Re: how old were you?

First time I rode a streetbike I was about 20. It was my buddies 03 cbr600. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to turn, but of course it was pretty easy. Then I obsessed about getting a bike for a year or so until I finally could afford a 929. When I bought the 929 there was a storm and I was about an hour and a half away from home, I rode it in the rain the entire trip. At the time I'd only been on a bike twice.

Re: how old were you?

Friend picked up a 636 and every single day and second tried to convince me to pick up a bike also. I've been considering it for a while but didn't have anyone to ride with...once he got his bike and was constantly bothering me I decided to get one. Was 21 at the time and bought a 01 GSXR600 before even riding a motorcycle in my life. haha

After that it was a camo Honda XR 75 with CR125 shocks. I had a few dirt bike here and there but my first street bike was a 78 Honda CB750Four. I got it for my 16th B day. I had my bike licence before my car licence:YEAH

Re: how old were you?

grew up ridin motocross & quads/sled's

Used to ride a old LTD 440 around the farms and backroads when i was real young

as far as the wheelie addiction goes it actually started on snowmobiles. Tryin to keep the ski's up across fields... transfered into dirtbikes/quads, then streetbikes.

Re: how old were you?

Rode moto x bikes since I was 6, had a 1976 Honda XR75. Moved up to a KX80 then to a CR125, then a CR250R. Street bike had to be when I was like 13 on a buddy's mom's room mate's bike. It was an old *** Honda CB750 or some ****. We took it out in a field and was killin it till we wrecked and broke a blinker off. Same buddy who's uncle had a YZ490, we had to prop it up against the wall to kick start the ****** thing! It was like trying to politely molest a Tasmanian devil! After that I got a street bike at like 17 been riding ever since! Discovered stunt riding in 99' and have been having fun with the people I meet along the way!
