Re: how old were you?

Ah....the old days! I got my JR 50 when I was 7, rode that till I was 9 or ten. Then got a XR 80, rode that till I was 13. At 13, got a '75 Yamaha MX 250 w/ a full magnesium race motor......thing was ******* fast! Then, at 15...bought my first street machine...a '82 KZ 440. Got my permit the day I turned 15 1/2, and rode the KZ for two years. Then stepped up to a MINT '84 Honda Magna, and rode that for the end of my junior year, and all of my senior year. Went in the Navy for 2 1/2 years.....bought a brand new F3 while I was in. Rode that for 5 years, sold it, bought a brand new '02 R1, sold it......and now I have two beat down stuntbikes! lol '01 FZ1, and a '02 F4i. I bought quite a few dirt toys in between all that, but this thread's about street!

Re: how old were you?

Rode my Uncles YSR50 when I was 12 or 13? Another uncle had one with a KX80 motor in it, I bought that when I was 14 and put the 50 motor back in with some upgrades. Traded that YSR to a buddy for an 88 CBR1000 Hurricane when I was 15.... I had intentions of selling that bike to make a few bucks and put it towards a new 600... the Hurricane got crashed by one of my buddies and he cut open his cornea (eye) $13,000 hospital bill because he had no eye protection. When I was 14 I had a buddy with an FZR600 that I used to ride shitty wheelies on, that thing was a pig! I had another buddy that had a 96 ZX-7RR which was a limited edition bike, hed let me ride that through the hood occasionally..... loved that bike. A couple years later I had another buddy that got a hold of a 95 zx-7, after he and a couple other squids crashed it he allowed me to ride it and I showed him how to rock a wheelie! HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! It was all down hill when I turned 18 and got my own new bike. killed the streets!

Re: how old were you?

Got my first bike at the age of 5, Suzuki 50 with 1 gear, got a Yamaha 80 when I was six and raced it for about 6 years at Bithlo in sunny Fl. Got my first sportbike about 5 years ago (22 years old) and started hitting the lots about 2 years ago (24 years old) and been riding ever since.

Re: how old were you?

i have had a job since 14 and bought 07 red ninja 250 with the ugly silver flames when i turned 15 and rode illegally for 4,300 miles with no wrecks and no police troubles. then got urge wheelie and decided to sell 250 and get 99 srad gixxer 600. learned balance point in 1st and 2nd gear then motor blew up and i sold it and now im 17 with a 900rr. just sold the 900rr this weekend and lookin to buy a minty 636 and throw a cage and bar on it and a real nice handbrake setup. wanna set it up really nice im tired of messing with bikes just thrown together. i want a clean full fairing 636 streetkiller/lotbike.
