2t power or 4t?

Re: 2t power or 4t?
I've owned 2 strokes and 4 strokes for many years, and have always stunted the 4 strokes, they have much smoother power control and delivery, if your going to stunt, I would recommend the 4 stroke. 2 strokes are much more snappy at mid and upper throttle range, and require more rear brake control during wheelies, throttle is not near as linear as a 4 stroke. Also slow tricks are going to be much smoother and easier on a 4 stroke because they have more low rpm power. 2 strokes were designed to be ran at a higher rpm to achieve their performance,... now if you are going to race, a 2 stroke would be a good way to go.

CRF450 man!!!
a CR500 will be way too sensitive and way too grunty for stunting.
How many guys are stunting crf450s compared to the amount of people stuntin CR500's, its like comparing how many people stunt F4i's compared to the amount of people stunting hayabusa's
Towlieee your insane if your serious, have you ridden one!

Kevomo7 also has a good point, look at everyone converting a dirtbike for stunting purpose, and you'll have a hard time finding anyone thats not using a 4 stroke. Check out Ryan Moore, he's owns on the 450! As long as you keep up on your service of your bike, it'll last. Check your valve clearances and change your rings and other vital parts when needed. Just follow the recommended maintenance sched for the bike. Also when changing parts out, check the spec on them,... If you change some rings one season, and you measure them, and seen they were just about like new on the tolerance, you'll know next time to wait longer before the next change, because your not riding the bike as hard the the service interval assumes the average rider would.

I was wondering about this too, I have a 2T and 4T, and when the 2T "hits" it 's hard to controll, and it has almost no power down low. I would like to know how to hold it up longer on the 2T though cuz it's a way funner bike and the maintence is cheap and super easy to do.

Re: 2t power or 4t?
two stroke is dope for stunting
I'm gonna take off my oil pump, block off the oil passages, and mix oil in my gas on the f4ez
Thats how you can convert a 4 stroke to a 2 stroke, and get instant BRRRAAAAP!!
