fuel pump aint priming

fuel pump aint priming

i checked the fuses.. they're all good. is the pump just bad?

to check if your pump is bad, run two wires off of your battery directly to the pump to see if it kicks on. if it does, check your relays and replace your fuse regardless of how it looks.

i dont think i have heard of anyones ignition going bad, maybe the on/off switch on the clip-ons, but not the ignition.

my friend ignition went bad on his f4i and put a f4 ignition on it and it would crank but not start, and the fuel pump wouldn't come on either

did the pump work before he changed the ignition?

Make sure your tip over sensor wires are still tied.

of course it would that bike isnt injected

same problem was happening to me and sometimes the bike would start and 10 minutes later midwheelie it would cut out on me. there are a few relays in the tail section, engine start, engine stop? i forget what they are called. but one of them was the problem and i had to replace it. also sometimes the wires can come out. i have never had a fuel pump go bad on me.

on my unbeatable ultimate 6 dirty 6 had a same problem... and i did panic thinking its my fuel pump but all i had to do was unhook the batt for 5 min check all the plugs and re hook the battery....

so try that man.. first i thought it wasn t gona work but hey it did work on me~ :D

kinda.. one of the wires comin outta the fuse box was groundin out..
