Help me turn my CRF450R into a supermoto stunter

I wanta turn my CRF450R racer into a part time stunter.

Right now i just wanta do stunt pegs, and a hand brake up by the clutch.
So my questions are, where can i get stunt pegs like ryan moores? Ive talked to him and he has of coarce done fab work to get the pegs on the subframe...

Also where can i get a handbrake? And is there a way to have both the rear footbrake and handbrake work at the same time.

Thanks for any help guys...here she is

ditch the index page on that site and just stick with the shopping cart features. That page gave me a headache...

Re: Help me turn my CRF450R into a supermoto stunter

has anybody installed one of these kits...im interested but $200 is lot...

How big is master cylinder, and the lever? Is it easily mounted above the clutch? Any pics with it mounted on a bike? Im assuming the cable can be easily routed down the frame?

check out the HAI online shop....their is a link at the top of like every page on SL [always the home screen]....they have a bunch of parts and options...they also have a killer rep for customer service....

you might be best to just call them tell them what you got going on and they will tell you what would be best for you...

your 450 is pimp, i wunna ride it :YEAH check out 50stunt.com Ryan Moore is the owner and that subframe he has on his bike is totally custom i believe as far as a handbreak you can do a tap-in setup which bolts on your footbreak master and allows you to run another break line up to a handlebar mounted mastercylinder. this will work just fine but you will not be able to use both hand and footbreak at the same time

Definatly not. Stock subframes on those arent terribly strong to begin with and drilling a hold in it would make it weaker and would probably hold up until the first good wreck and then break. If you go to www.supermotostunts.com thats ryan moores website he has pics of his 450 all over that and you can see how he made his subframe, 12bar, and rear pegs. His whole subframe is custom and made out of chromoly steel. Best bet would probably take it to a custom fab shop with pics of ryan moores bike and how its done and ask them what they would want to do the same thing.
Or if you want to go a cheaper route send Old Man Roger on here a pm. You can probably measure the subframe where he tells you to and he can make you a nice subframe cage that use folding rear pegs like he made for Nags 150.

Alright thanks for the idea's, i know a guy who might be able to fabricate something up for me:YEAH

Here's an idea for a stuntbrake....take a Lever and master cylinder off a wrecked bike, or a parts bike, maby a XR100 or something and use that....then i just gota get a brake line long enough to route down the frame and a splitter to go into the rear brake master cylinder

Most handbrakes use an adapter that go into the rear brake master cylinder and allow you to run the handbrake and footbrake without having to get rid of one of those. The xr100 have drum brakes and the crf450s have disk brakes. Your going to have to get somone to make you an adapter for the rear master or get a custom dual caliper bracket and run the foot on one caliper and the hb on the other. Pretty much any front brake master cylinder will work but the rear calipers arent really that strong on the 450s from what I hear and the handbrakes dont work that awsome without adding another caliper. I was told that by ryan moore last year. He has the brembo 16x18 and made an adapter but he said it isnt all that great.
