Ive had a few bike, and i just bought a 02 r6 that was laid down, and im rebuilding it.
I want it to daily drive to work and to mess around< i like doing wheelies and want to learn some tricks.
I want to gear it down, but i have questions on how much. I was looking at the combo packages the stage 3... I was told to do the street/stunt kit, but you loose 25% top speed. I still want the bike to go good on the highway, but i want to be able to easly lift the front up.
Im lookin into a hand brake and the 12 O-clock bar, im going to keep it full fairing so i dont want to destroy the new fairings.
Anyone with any gearing tips?
Ive only riden the r6 two times, im still ordering parts.

 

i like to ride street and lots so my gearing is stock up front and +7 in the rear. it was -1+10 but i wanted to tone it down alittle. get a omr sub cage and a cage. you will want to do the air box mod to so you dont get oil in your air box when falls and the tip sensor mod so the bike wont cut off when you dump it. just got done ordering my cage and omr subframe ready to destroy some **** lol

 

heres a tip...dont stunt it....












haha....just kidding have fun learning and be prepared...you will mess up your new plastics if you truly start to stunt....

 

I had -1 +2 on mine and it worked fine for the highway and the lot.

 

get a different bike to stunt. your going to mess it up if you want to LEARN tricks
