yea no beginner needs a 1000! my g.f wanted a 600 but she's like 50pds wet ,wearin boots ...so got her the cbr-125r....she never drove it...if she buys a 600 i say let her smash it once and i think she'll never want a 1k or a 600 w/o training wheels ever again!

besides that, i used to pow it till i got a -1/54rear...then i learned to clutch it up in a day easily...it helps your game period. go from 0 to 12o'clock in a snap.....instead of trying brake control to slow it to idle. or coasters...if you can do that then why not learn your clutch...
