It seems like this is a CLEAR case of someone taking advantage of someone who puts TONS of money into our sport. SMF and Chris has supported our sport even when he was on the loosing end in some cases.

When Ryan S. Wrecked SMF donated a ton of helmets to help ryan with his surgerys. Packed up 8 Stunt Riders and hauled them to indy all expenses paid so that hopefully they could make something of themselves. Hw offered to rebuild Jason from anger managements bike when he wrecked a week before stunt wars, just so that he could ride for the pure fact that he knew Jason was looking forward to it.
Chris has done major things and advertized riders to the extreme.

THE CONTINGENCY: was setup on a honor system which is NO SECRET AND CLEARLY SPELLED OUT. JUST like teach said its for people who OWN and support the co. that supports the riders.

Kawasaki makes a rider register his or her bike rider + vin have to match and then a person gets paid. All Chris asked was for a person to OWN a craft Helmet and run a sticker and you get paid cut and dry. When people take advantage of something good and try to lie or take advantage of this GREAT program it spoils it for the rest of us that work our asses off....

 

yes.....i'm very grateful for chris donating helmets for the helpryans.com fund.....very cool guy.....especially since i've never met him before my accident!!!!!

 

They have ur scheme beat in Canada. The popcorn bags change every week because there are new advertisements on it.

 

that sucks, the places around here have just started doin buckets again cause people were just bringin their old bags back... pretty hard to sneak a bigass bucket in, those things are huggee

 

**** this popcorn, we talking about some real **** and im gonna try and find out what happened in about 24 hours.. and see what the deal is with the contingency, because it would suck to lose it

 

I hope that chris is able to continue his contingency program for XDL. I have heard some rumors to as why this may have happen and hope as a rider and a key player in a big stunt shop that this isn't true. What chris from SMF did was light years ahead of what the big companies were offering. I hope that this can come back and continue to help riders that support SMF, Craft and Barracuda.

Seems like another disapointing moment in our quest to be a legit organized sport.

Like T-Ice said, this was a great opportunity that Chris brought to the table, and something that I was hoping other companies would see and follow his lead. I hope for our sake that he doesn't completely stop because of 1 riders stupidity.

 

I can't believe someone would **** this up. What Chris and SMF offer to us as competitors is the most generous program from any stunt-related company I have seen. He is one of the few that actually supports OUR SPORT. How he helped out Ryan S alone should tell you what he is all about, and what type of person he is.



To say I am slightly perturbed would be a gross understatement.

 

Does this all have to do with someone at stuntwars who wasnt really wearing a craft helmet?

 

I have nothing to say that hasn't already been said here. I just wanted to show public support for Chris and SMF.

Looking into it today I just sit here and shake my head. Not only is this a loss, but this is yet another knife selfish riders have stuck into the back of freestyle riding as a whole. If ONE company pulls back anything that is a HUGE knock down for us. In fact, I've raved about the SMF program to corporate entities and the community as best as possible. His payouts are BETTER than many full sponsorships contingencies. So now, not only did we lose an example of what was a great return we can offer a company that competes or would follow SMF. But qualified riders lose the potential to make the money to fund their programs.

So whoever did this, I hope your payback comes swift.

 

I don't blame him, sort yourselves out, the pros are mixed with the am. who can tell who is legit? bring up your game or be left behind. This isn't a game to everyone, to some people it is their career. For you guys running your game just know, you're ******* things up for people who are so much better than you.

 

I plead the 5th but I will say Thank you chris and smf for everything you have done for me :YEAH

I could call the guy right now and have a new helmet in a few days for no reason whats so ever! Which I could say that for the rest of my sponsers! He hauled my *** to indy for no fee!

Although I missed out on my check from stuntwars due to a broken leg I sure hope it wasn't my last oppurtunity

I think Chris will come around but the whole contract will be in bold from now on!
