He has no concept of brake control, no reason to have a hand brake.


Sure you can put one on, just like he could spend $3,000 on new plastics and a custom paint job... But when he goes flipping it down the road again, and is out $3,000, he'll be kicking himself!


Best advice given is to ditch teh hb, learn foot brake, then reinstall HB!


My first Hb setup I put on, before I was ready for it.. Dumped it on a staggard, broke my HB... felt stupid and removed it.

Now that I'm ready for it, I rock it!

first of all i never paid 3000 on any plastics or paint job. those are my old plastics just painted them black and i was the one who did that paint job. and it wasnt on my bike, i painted it on my friends bike. and if i fall the only thing that could brake is the lever. and i can still use my rear brake too. so i can practice using both.

 

exactly what? trickshow, do yourself a favor and don't listen to a thing georgeboy say's, since he obviously has no ******* idea what the **** he's talking about. my advice is don't even mount the handbrake until you can use the footbrake effectively, it will serve to make you a much more well rounded rider. one of two things will happen if you put it on now, either, you put it on and unless you progress fast you probly will never even use it first season(what a waste), or you start using it now dooming yourself to ever being able to any hand of the bar tricks. think about it. oh! and georgeboy it's ALL HATE IN '08 buddy, so don't be mad just cause you can't deal with it. HATER!

 

im still gonna rock it, theres no reason not to!

I'm not hating, i have no reason to, but everytime you come back with a comment you're setting yourself up.

Re-read Bill's instructions. even ring him and stop trying to compete with everyone on stunt life.

If you wanna rock a brand new HB set up without even knowing how to use your RB then do as you wish, but don't come on her and expect to get away without any drama.

If you don't even know how to bleed a brake system, then you shouldn't be doing it yourself, let alone altering it to incorporate a HB. Bad brakes = no stopping power, normally = pain
