damn, i'm getting hyped just thinking about how much fun it is!!! the bimmer can handle the course too!
+1, Stevens is the ****. i've chilled with him when he made it to slo,ca and out at Wilson's in Fresno, and he just straight kills it, makes it look so damn clean. Drift King!:YEAH

Re: Drifting in The Comps????

right before i sold my 05 r6, i was trying to get the physics down on that ****...

i would run in hot, drag the back break to a full ****** lean, and hella sideways, then just pop the clutch, letting off the rear brake. i would either spin out, or get a 180 degree turn, and take off with so much ferociousness, i almost lost it, and was launched into the next timezone.

i only have my 06 R6 now, and i got way better back ins with that thing, so i MAY try it now, may not... i aint sure. (no cage on it)

tertiary (thats your latin lesson for the day), i would win. that's really the important thing to consider! lol

Re: Drifting in The Comps????

people are talkiing about skill level in an event, but you dont here this arguement about longest stoppy or sick trick... i say go for it. and if there is a side competition for drifting only, freestyle or marked course, its gonna raise the level of drifting. more people will be setting up cones and stuff at the lots trying to get better and more controlled at it.

isnt progression of the "sport" what we want? or should i break out the 900rr? lol

There's some racers on supermotard able to drift as close as a car drifter, some without putting their feet onto ground with leaning angle like a gangsta. Some euro dude on crotch rocket drift side to side high speed about 60 mph ++
