thanks dog, once I get enough extra cash for a brembo I want to get the 17x18(I think) thats what zackie chans got and it feels perfect. I didnt even now they made that size till he got it.

yea, i saw you post on that ***** but this was a month or so before that,,,,, i wanted to try the clutch master cause you said you were using the 1000 rr one and im sick of havin half *** **** so i just spent the money to get it that way,,, no biggie,, and she looks nice as hell,,,,,,,

 

are you going to try the 13mm thumb brake,,,,

Yea... I got that one too... don't know why... I was up late one night w/ too many beers in me and some $$ to blow.

I liked the easy bleeding and banjo outta the way too. Thing works great though.

Are you seriously tryin that?? That is ****** sick.... expensive! But very sick.

I've been kickin around the idea of mounting up a thumb brake too in addition to the brembo and connect it via adapter to the foot brake (still runnin my brembo into the dual caliper).

Just to have a different option when it comes to certain tricks....

For example I can SS coast all day long... but once I move up to the tank it all changes... I can coast in K just a lil bit cause I'm holdin on REAL tight w/ the left leg on the cage, but spreader/hc/frog.... nothin.

everytime I go to pull the clutch my hands have so much pull on them that I can't work both clutch/brake independently.... so i end up pullin on both by accident, slammin down.

I'm thinkin it might make tank circles easier too.... I HATE only using one finger (ie: not coverin the clutch w/ the other) durin any type of circle... and aside from ss and rl i have to switch to 1 finger cause of the same thing i said above... too much arm pull to work both.


i think thumb brake may be the answer!!

 

I Dont Get Why Everyone Is Calling Them A Four Piston If You Look At The Calipers On The Front Of Bikes F4i Gsxr6 Rr R6 Theres Only 2 Pistons And On The Rear There Is 1 Pistons

Or is there only 1 on each side?


Cause the front calipers don't float like the rear caliper, so theres no way they could only have pistons on 1 side

there are 2 pistons on each side... so yea they're 4 piston calipers.
