Re: chain length help please

the distance between the front sprocket and rear sprocket must be different even if the wheel base was the same

Yeah, t depends too on where you like running your rear wheel. If you like it closer to the engine side of the swingarm you're gonna lose a few links compared to running it further towards the back of the swingarm.

not on an f4i...

i just put this chain on 4 days ago... i like the adjuster as close as possible... but for some reason i couldn't get it there.... so i had to turn em way out.

There IS NOT a FEW links between full out and fully adjusted in... maybe a half a link or one if that.

yep same on the 636 the chain would have to be loose as hell and adjusted all the way back for me to be able to take out one link and still have it work

a 130 will cover that just fine but a 120 will not.

Re: chain length help please

i know if you talk to the people at thrust they know how many links you need and i suspect hai and warped toys would also know ...

but my guess is a 130 should cover it..

Re: chain length help please

ok cause the front master will work you just have to mount it upside down and run a longer hose to the res as long as it has a remote res not one that is attatched to the master

it's funny because some on else just asked the same question...lol

Re: chain length help please

you did get the one that has the little hose that goes to the res not the one that has the res as part of the master right ?

because the one that has the res connected to the master doesn't fit good at all with the clutch...

Re: chain length help please

yeah it has a hose and the res.... I fit the res perfectly but couldn't get the ez pull and the hb in a good position cause hb upside down was hard to get everything to fit perfectly so just swapped it out....
