f*cking rediculous florida law

anyone hear about the law they passed in florida? doesnt take effect until next october, but its ****** rediculous. Once it does, any motorcycle charged with reckless driving (30mph over the speed limit, stunting, burnouts, etc) gets arrested on the spot and your bike gets impounded, even if you have a clear record. authorities are "tired of peeling people off the pavement"... i guess there too ******* stupid to realize that cagers are responsible for most fatalities. there still gonna let idiots cruise around with no helmet as long as there over 21, but if an 18 year old kid get caught doing slow wheelies in an isolated parking lot, he loses his bike and gets a criminal ****** record. what the **** is that?

another scenario... its a know fact that alot of cops hate sportbikes. I have been fucked with PLENTY of times by cops when they see my "under 21" tag (another bullshit law thats a cop magnet) cruising around minding my own damn buisness . all it takes is a douchbag cop having a bad day to claim he saw your wheel crest on acceleration (happened to a dude on a katana, no possible way you can power wheelie it in 2nd with stock everything) and your totally fucked. Its your word against his. Your word against some ******** in a dead end job that probably has no college education and a shitty highschool one. You lose. ****** rediculous

its an arrestable offense BUT there is usually some slack depending on circumstances and automatic reposession comes with the third offense. now its first time, every time. Jail time and reposession.... way overkill

cops in general suck big dick... doesnt matter where you go. Its just a matter of how much/how big the dick is that they suck

not pulling over is always a good solution, provided they didnt get you plates...

I'm all for intellegent points and conversation but before you start out information you have no CLUE about and speaking of College Education and intelligence at 18 Years old, take a step back because you are talking out of your .....

Stay in school and take a political science calss or US Government class, research the 3 Branches of Government and TRY , to understand their roles....then tell me when a COP ever makes LAW???? Or even which Branch of Government he/she falls under???
Which Branch of Government actually makes/passes NEW LAW???

Go to www.fl.senate.gov and research your statements before making an out of yourself.....

The reckless driving law in Fl...has NOT changed!

Wheelies are ILLEGAL, Excessive Speed is Illegal (30+) has been in place for years (Reckless).....The police have ALWAYS had the option to impound bikes so on and so fourth....nothing NEW!

Re: f*cking rediculous florida law

I think what Stg. Stud is sayin changed is the fact that the law impounds the bike and keeps the bike to sell at an auction. (Where I'm sure the arresting officer and a few close friends have first dibs.) I was told by a cop that this will be a new law soon but he didnt know when. He also said that the loop hole was that if the bike is registered under someone elses name other than the operator, they can impound but not keep.

thats just stupid, now i never had anything impounded before but if that **** is mine your damn right they better give it back unless it was for something major like robbing a bank or selling drugs an if they didn't I would steal it back and sell it for parts from the officer or one of his close friends that bought it from auction, just saying
