Although the cops don't make the law (which, by the way we all know) you can't argue with then because they CAN make your life hell no matter how well you know the law. Non of us have truely "legal" bikes...no mirrors, fender eliminators, etc. The laws are up for change and the PBA is trying to get harsher punishments.

 

wow not gonna dignify that with a real response. I could vent for about 5 min right now. If you had read the entire thread, you would have realized that if the new law was in effect, you probably would be in jail with an impounded bike, def no license and no motorcycle privlages... but nvm FrankieG is your buddy so he must be right and I need to read **** before i post. and i don't know about Florida put around here cops make mad loot !!!! they start around 45-50 and max out as a patrol officer at 75 g's

what the problem is, is that your dealing with State (or county) officers not city cops....

Oh yeah, and I am a cop. Except that I never ticketed a motorcyclist for any reason. I may of told them to stunt at a safer place, or somewhere that people aren't going to call and make complaints, but never wrote another motorcyclist a ticket.
Maybe your shitty attitude is the reason for the constant harassment.

Austin Tx- 2 wheelies= 2 arrests for wreckless driving .....

Why let them ticket you Seriously though every cop ive ran from gave up after a few seconds, so why pull over??

 

**** i can't always run, sometimes they don't come blairing lights and sirens from a mile away. sometimes they squad up and hang back in traffic and get right on your *** and see your tag before they light you up with a couple buddies right there to help give chase. i ALWAYS am looking for cops since i don't ride lots AT ALL and you can't be lazy about it when ur ******* around on public roads. but SOMETIMES those ******* are sneaky, they have to be.

 

you could not run a tag. but that's a tough one, you run no tag and every cop pulls you over, then you are ALWAYS running. or you can run a tag and pick and choose where you **** around and just keep a good look out.

but if they get close enough to get the tag, just pull over unless you like jail and probation.

 

Yea theres been a few times i knew i was tagged and i knew i had no option of running...isnt there a way you can position your tag so its hard to read? What about streetfighterz? I think they use zipties, anyone else rockin those?
