stall to spreader...?
Re: stall to spreader...?
Im trying to learn these too...ive landed a couple and once i stalled out and flipped over the front.
Re: stall to spreader...?
it's all in what you get used to I guess!! hell I have seen T-neck at there spot in orlando do damn near every trick { that I have to skip my clutch in}with out slipping his clutch! I could never do that! he told me thats just the way he does it!
Re: stall to spreader...?
it's hard. took me a long time and a lot of hand pain to cover clutch/hb while in hc and spreader. my last 2 fingers would hurt so bad. keep learning it that way, it's hte right way and it will pay off later.
if you do it from a merk step and don't stall the bike out completely that tends to be easier to get them down first, since you don't have to work the clutch yet, but still keep that finger on there.
when i started learning them by a stall, i always applied some brake as i was clutching out adn stalled it completely and over the bars i went.
covering clutch in spreader is a beast. i have tiny hands so it's hard for me to hold on too.

Re: stall to spreader...?
my hb set up is just fine, i run a brembo with a moose. but yahh the merk to spreader i havent tried yet, but yah i noticed i get em when i let the clutch out as im jumping giving it very little gas just to put it out onto the idle but then once im up there i have a hard time keeping it on idle cuz im holding on so hard i cant work my brake very well. i cant do em worth a **** when i try to just ride it out cuz i end up clutchin out too late. thanks for all the help, guess its another one of those things that i gotta get used to, just wanted to make sure i had the right technique.
