Re: Are the subcages worth it?

I just put my SI on today and mounted solid pegs on it. Feels way more stable and sturdy, but I can see what OMR means. I can't clutch it up out from under me now from a standstill but i'm not carrying that big of a bag o tricks yet anyways, so it works for now. But I kept my folding mounts for standard pegs when that day comes.

I posted some pics a while back Here, Just don't mind the pipe not mopunting up correctly., it's an 02 gsxr 1k pipe, so the hanger bracket doesn't line up, but the pipe that came on fit perfect...

I like the folding pegs.. I was doing Foot drags yesterday and folded my Peg up so I wouldn't get stabbed in the leg by it.. Might happen with a solid peg. And it is Rotated a bit so it doesn't fold up when in a wheelie and gives a better foothold with the stock pegs.. And yeah they will work with aftermarket pegs also..

Re: Are the subcages worth it?

Oke,

now i need to know some stuff before i order the wrong subcage lol.

Why the people went from the si subcage to the OMR subcage? SI also have the fold pegs.

The pegs are a little rotated? can somebody show it to me??
or its not rotated for a f4i?

I love my SI cage but can't speak for the subcage. I looked at the pics on the site and saw OMR's on here and I like the rotated pegs and it looks more solid, I didn't like the flat piece on the underside of the Si cage. And I do blive the OMR is a better deal. I'm just biased like that though

Re: Are the subcages worth it?

a few people have told me that the flat part of the si cage hits and cuts there tire and eventually gets ripped off and can stop the tire completely in a circle and some just liked my peg position better

Old man Roger is awake again

Well that's a good thing to know before ordering...

Do you have a picture with the OMR subcage on a f4i?
