you dont have problems with it hitting your tire? I put my clip ons on top and lowered it a little. I love the way it feels. I tried to bolt up a 06 radiator but it was too big and looked like it would slam the wheel so I said **** it and stayed with the 03 radiator

Re: 636 overheat issues

if you run water wetter, change your fluids like yearly or whatever, the stuff has been known to cause leaks in radiators. dont remember the intelligent answer as to why, but there was a guy on superhonda.com that knew his **** and thats what he said...

Re: 636 overheat issues

03-04 636's are weird with the over heating issue....i honestly think that the radiators when overheated shrink the water jackets or something, my 636 used to overheat like crazy, even when going down the road at decent speeds....i put a new radiator in and i can do burnouts, drift, circles in a 90 degree lot for a solid 20 mins with no over heating issues....my teamate, joey b can't keep his cool for anything, with every different type of coolant under the sun---and his fan is hard wired

Ever since my radiator hose blew I have been running straight water and it seems to work fine but then again I have an 03-04 not an 05-06.

its what the kawasaki race teams use in all their bikes.
i also swapped my rad cap to a heavier motorcross one, and hardwired the fan to always be on when the ignition is as well..

it helps.. but fish is right, in these crazy vegas heats i have to spend several cool down laps around the spot after every burnout to mad circle sesh...

alot of bent fins (that dont let air pass through) will kill the efficiency of a rad.... as will clogged fins ...clogged with dust or dirt (or grass seeds in my case ...livin on a farm.... I've perused offroad before...and had to Hose my Rad clean to stop my bike from pissin every 5 min. )

Yeah, i'm a squid and have NEVER rode any wheelies in my life. Ha Ha. . But seriously, if someone doesn't want to be a internet gangster and try it, I have seriously seen the difference it makes. I was gonna run it in my bike, but then I got rid of it. I just got another F4I, so I will be running it in it.

Peace Justin
