Re: 636 overheat issues

i think alot of ppl hardwire their fan and leave it on all the time while in the lot, which prob helps cuz i know mine doesnt even kick on till like 220 or some shit. theres ways to add another fan as well. i havent done either, i just ride lots at night or on cooler days haha.

Re: 636 overheat issues

Here in vegas its never cold, night time its 115. My bike can run for around 15 minutes before the bitch pisses, apex's bike lasts for about 4 minutes. haha

Re: 636 overheat issues

Engine Ice sucks.

I hard wired my fan to a switch, and put straight water and water wetter in mine. The hottest it ever gets is around 200

Re: 636 overheat issues

Yeah man hardwire the fan, I feel ya on the heat.. I think it depends on how you ride though too. if you're full bore all the time like Apex is yeah it's gonna happen I think. I haven't really had any overheating issues with mine.

Re: 636 overheat issues

I think he already hard wired it...

I upgraded to an 2006 radiator (I have an 03/04 636) and ran anti-freeze/water and really I don't have any problems unless I do a really long burn out session or leave the fan off.

Re: 636 overheat issues

yeah ima get on that fan switch for sure. If it works in Arizona it must work here! hahah

Dont think he has it on a switch but i may be wrong, half the time his radiator is falling of so... lol

Re: 636 overheat issues

and safety wire another fan on the other side of the rad. duc 999 ones are small and pull lots of air... 2 fans = no overheating

Re: 636 overheat issues

I had to hard wire the fan, run engine ice and replace my thermostat. It still overheats
