If I had an extra 16k...
Re: If I had an extra 16k...
they actually help to a certain degree..if you are starting from scratch and don't have a clue about wheeling. i sold him that wheelie machine years ago with my business partner. we teach people all the time and they learn pretty fast like a day. they ain't stunt'n by no means just clutching wheelies and learning back brake control... if you want to learn to stunt and you got a bike you can sacrifice go to the lot and practice... if you got a mint as bike 30 day tags in all i would rather by for the class then bust *** while you are paying payments on liability....also if you had the cash to buy the machine you would make that 17g's backin 3 months if you work hard at bike week, sturgis, daytona, etc people ride them things over and over at 20.00 for 8 wheelies...easiest money you would ever make.. cause it is just entertainment and customers feel safe trying to be a stunter. example i went to bikeweek..and set up for a week and rode a avg of 225people a day for 5 days 15 hour a day = $ 22,500 minus travel and blown up motor cause it will blow motors. i took in $18500 ..not a bad 5 days of work

Re: If I had an extra 16k...
how the hell does that thing work? it looks like u just lean untill u hit BP. No clutch required! call me a redneck, but i think u could do the same thing with a lil rope and a big tree. We did it on our BMX bikes... just need a lil more rope for a street bike right?

Re: If I had an extra 16k...
I've seen someone make a makeshift dyno offa old truck. Kinda like in mythbusters....
Same princaple(sp) you just have to make a lock peice for the rear wheel, and set the speed of the rollers. Ill try to find pics of it if i can. they built it on pendleton, not sure what happen to it. Cost em like 300dollars for the truck from a salvage yard. trucks engine was great, just bent frame. So for a couple hundred and a lot of cutting and welding you could save a few grand
