help with chain link length

help with chain link length

how do i go about trying to figure out how many extra links i need for my chain to accommodate for a +7 rear sprocket, stock front sprocket? this would be for an 07 zx6r. i really don't want to spend a ton of extra money just to have a ton of extra links i didn't need.

but how did you figure it out? my head is pretty much wrapped around a pole trying to figure it out.

What's up guys. I have a 16t/55t and I bought a 140 link chain not knowing how many it would take to instal this set up lol. I know a bit much but like everyone says its better to have left overs. Plz help.
