Everytime I fit a new rear tyre i find it hard to get used to it for a good few day's or even weeks. I know its cuz i get used to the old tyre and lean to the left or right to balance it out, so when the new tyre is on and rides in a straight line i'm still trying to lean over as i did for the old tyre.
Does anyone have a problem like this after fitting a new tyre??

Also my circles seam to get faster and tighter with the new tyre, and i find it hard to turn out of circles.
Why cant someone make a tyre that last forever

Come on people, tell me i'm not the only one out there with this hassle every time.

 

i just put a new rear tire on and now my spreaders have gone to sh*t. the new tire just spins out and i have tried diff tire pressure but nothing.

its probally that the new tire is still perfectly rounded, i notice it worse with a front tire than the rear but it kinda makes since tha it isnt squared yet

 

i always run about 20 psi in my rear tire but when ever i put on a new one i drop it down to 15 for the first night or so then it seems to be ok

 

new tire = 10 minute killer burnout sessions and a lilttle playing with the tire presssure.. and your good to go.

i usually rock only like 15psi or so on a new tire for the first 30-40 min then bump it up to my usual 20-22 psi...

although i think changing tire brands makes more of a differance than anything

idk I seem to LOVE new tires

but thats because im usually switching from a tire thats showing cords all the way around and is chopped, to something brand new, or close to new...

 

I agrea with that.
And it also depands on if you have a tire with steel carcas, they are more tough in the beginning.

 

 

I hate changing tires... that's why I don't abuse them as bad as some other riders. I had this one time, That, after almost two weeks, my circles still weren't the same as before

But I also changed tires and didn't noticed a damn thing...

 

thats cuz you dont know how J.. i can do it in under 20 minutes start to finish, easy as ***..

 

I wasn't talking about the process of changing tires, but about the side effects to it... That you have to "re-learn" all your **** That's why I hate changing my tires, and that's why I don't replace them every month

 

No J.. the more you change you tire the more you get used to that..
I change my back tire every 1 or 2 weeks.. So you should abuse it more!! :YEAH

 

yeah, but you have a sponsor deal with Continental... you ride with the same tires all day every day... I'm talking about different sizes, different brands, types, shapes, colors

 

what set up are you guys using for tyre changes?

Ye i'm always useing differet types of tyres but the same size. They are also part worn with around 100-200 miles on them after a track day.

I killed my last tyre from wheelies only, i didnt do any burn outs and it lasted about 3 months

I'm gona try doing burn outs for a few day till i get the tyre all sorted.
