07 kawa zx6r SUXX!!!!!!
Re: 07 kawa zx6r SUXX!!!!!!
05 and 06 are exactly the same bike. the only changes are the paint colors, every other part has the same part number. the difference is just the slight variation in bikes when you dyno. same bikes off the same assembly line can vary as much as 5%....that's about 7hp difference on a 120hp bike.
also, the 636 has more displacement, more displacement means more low end over a 599cc bike. put that 6rr from 06 up to the 07 and it'll probably be a lot closer to the low end.

I think it might have more emissions crap on it!?
I dunno i'm not stunting mine but i put a two brothers slip on on there and first gear fcukin blows, it's like there's a delay in the throttle response. But i already know that i'll probably go down 1 tooth on the front sprocket or just buy a power commander. I just don't think it has more power than my 03 636
Re: 07 kawa zx6r SUXX!!!!!!
variances in scales. you are looking at weights that are probably tested by magazines. look at the weights given out by the manufacturer as "claimed dry weight". when i just googled 636 dry weight every single thing that came up had a different "dry" weight they tested. one of them was all the way down to 355lbs...not true.
like i said, there are variances in bikes. if you do'nt believe me waste your time and look up every single kaw part number for each bike. they are exactly the same. hell, e-mail kawi. they are the ones sending us the shop manuals here and they say it's the same bike (minus color changes).
115 bhp @ 14,000 rpm
52.0 lb-ft @ 11,500 rpm
claimed hp/torque for BOTH 05/06 models from kawasaki.
durty: just cause someone's baby mama's brothers sister told you, doesn't mean they know what they are talking about. i heard someone on here saying that undercut gears on a tranny is cutting the teeth down on sprockets to reduce drag.

+1 to all of that...
Too many people speak when they dont know for sure if the garbage coming out of their mouth is true of not!
On a side note... I REALLY want to try out an '07 ZX-6... I want to see if it's a matter of getting used to the bike or if they REALLY are worse stunt bikes...
Right now i am VERY happy with my 03/04's!!!
Re: 07 kawa zx6r SUXX!!!!!!
dude...have you seen some of the **** people stunt?? why dont you learn to kill that..so you can hop on anything anywhere and kill it...serioulsy don't gripe about a new bike!..only bikes i know that blow are GIXXERS

i felt the same way on my 06 R6.... i felt like i bought a piece of **** at first, because it wassnt as strong as my 05. but when you pay attention to the bike, i was really hauling ***, it just wassnt pulling me off the seat.... then when i started to wheelie it, the things balance was perfect, just really sensetive throttle.
comparing doing slow burnouts, between the bikes, you can dip the 03-05 into 2-3rpm's on the slow burnouts... you do that on the 06, and it will cutt off fo'sho.
but as it is right now, i am hella comfortable on the 05, but the 06 is so much more fun!

my friend King Tony Formally known as P.C.P. Tony got 3rd place at king of the south on his 07zx6r..and he hadnt had alot of seat time..maybe a month and a half at most.he really likes it..
Re: 07 kawa zx6r SUXX!!!!!!
with all that said, i bet if you give me a month and i could change the bike how i want it, i would rock the ***** off of it.
i honestly don't give a **** anymore what bike i'm on. i'll adapt. took me 3 months getting used to my 750 even though i hated it, but after that i was killin it. Re: 07 kawa zx6r SUXX!!!!!!
here we go again, and why is it gixxers blow so much.......cause yours did, seriously, i see alot of riders killing it on gixxers, jason britton, j-beats, warren jamez, and if i remember correctly, you weren't complaining til your motor blew. as if no other bike out there has problems....but if you want to keep knocking them, then so be it

i still feel a lot more comfortable on my 03, but i have a lot more fun riding the 07
i still need to add some gearing to it, cause the way i have it now it is pretty guttless (only a 54 in the rear)
but overall like i said, i have a lot more fun riding the 07, and once it setup properly i think its a killer bike. and its the best stoppie bike ive ever ridden
