setup (brembo/FI clipons/msr raptor)
setup (brembo/FI clipons/msr raptor)
So I got a brembo 16x18 from HAI last week for my gixxer. I mount in a few different setups them on my FI clipons a ew ways. The only way I to fit nicely and workable was to have my msr raptor up near the fork and the master after that.. so now I have to cut the lever if I am going to keep the setup I have now. Anybody running this setup? I tried running the brake first the clutch but it didnt work well. Any feedback or
would help. Thanks-

i guess as long as i can get a 2 finger squeeze it, it doesnt madder i just didnt want to loose lever feel. Since it really doesnt work well any other way, I guess Im sort of limited. Ill put up a pic in a little while to show everyone for *****-

hey how much do you have to work that brake with the bigger sprocket?i just had Geared Steel make me a custom 60 tooth.biggest i have gone i this bike is 53.i know it's all idle, brake and throttle control but i'm still courious.i haven't had a big sprocket in a while
Re: setup (brembo/FI clipons/msr raptor)
it's not bad if it gets sketchy for you just turn the idle down alittle...
i run about 3000 that and i have a realy good brake set up with a 600rr front caliper mounted on my back rotor....

Re: setup (brembo/FI clipons/msr raptor)
dean i would cut that lever or it's going to brake when it hits the ground ..
or at least cut it half way thruogh so it will brake where you want it to so you can at least still ride for the rest of the day...

in the third pic, where the open end wrench cross's the lever is about where i was going to cut it-

oh and the brembo is a 1 finger type of deal, if not you have air in line
