Do I have to film constantly? I needed 44 minutes of footage, good footage. I have endless footage. I was there to film AC and to get some comments from a couple of the stuntwars guys about the changes in venue. That's it. Hells yeah I had fun the rest of the time. What are you, my mom? Am I not allowed to have fun or something, people? I have a note from myself saying it's ok if I party and have a good time. I can even get laid if I want to.

You make a good point about the other thing though. I have no regard for him personally, and I was hasty to cut him out. I'd like to do a better job of not letting my personal feelings influence business decisions, because that's actually important to me and I didn't notice myself doing it. I'll try harder.

FYI.. xdl is its own sanctioning body and has a good relationship with stuntfest and stuntwars.. at some point we will be looking at ways to integrate the standings, while keeping our own individual events... the reason points wont really work is because not enough riders have enough money to travel to each event.. so basically, whoever can hit the most events and place top 5 would win.. even if there was a rider who could only attend half the events but they placed 1st everytime....

but regional qualifiers work well and if we can have all 3 promoters use the same judging criteria for individual freestyle then we could utilize the standings from all events to place qualifiers for a final event... at this final event we would crown a national... or possibly even world title...

The final event would have to be held in a great city at a cool location

ex. Las vegas at a casino

All I stepped off of was that one corporation. I'm in a hurry to set up my own. **** giving up, I finished. I need to be away from the sanctioning body to be an agent or I can get in big trouble and any competitive stuntriders I have could be penalized for my involvement. That's why I didn't go online yesterday and set up my own company. But I want to first thing monday so this needed to move.

Can you see by that fact there that I actually did this just to help? It'll benefit me long term and sure you guys would have done it on your own but it would have taken longer and **** waiting around.

I think you might want to look into the legalities of being an agent on a sanctioning committee for the same sport that you represent competitive riders in. I am pretty sure there are rules about that.

MCing not so much, but yeah, if you are an agent for competitve riders be aware of the legalities. You could and should be on some committess but there'll be a conflict of interests if you're on the board or a judge as an agent.

You should be running comps, that's what it's all about. But agents being on sanctioning boards or judging comittees can then be accused of fixing events, and really have no way to prove they didn't. If nothing else it's wise and ethical to distance myself while I'm memorizing regulatory statutes for AMA and FMX and seeing how they apply to me.

 

I dont see how you think its going to benefit you down the road? What do you think that because you Help set one little thing up {that thomas could have done on his own}that there going to just start throwing money at you if/when the sport blows up?

Why is this important to you? Ask the man. He should be my manager. Thomas I can do this, just hold on or be a dick to me while I make things happen. No, I'm looking more big picture. The faster the sport blows up, the bigger the guys I'm booking will get, the more successful my little agency will be, and the better off a bunch of people I really like will be.

That's how it will benefit me, it could yet be a well spent effort.

 

I'm no manager, but I know a lot of people and find it really easy to convince people that the riders I think are great really are great.

I couldn't do a thing for you, even though you're a great rider, my lack of enthusiasm for you as an individual would ring true in every word I said about you.
