Re: Bad FI-Cage

i think the bar around the engine must be a little bit longer. then you not must destroy the exhaust and the holes are very exactly.

Re: Bad FI-Cage

tyger shark cages are super strong and have a bigger puck on the end to absorb impact, behind the puck is a 400 lb. rated spring so by the time the shock even reaches the bike its nothing

FI broke my stator cover and killed my dog...

Re: Bad FI-Cage

It´s not about FI not being strong, that damn piece just doesn´t fit the 600RR and it sux to have to redesign it by your own.

Re: Bad FI-Cage

mine has done it's job so far.

had to put a lil dent in the header to get it to shut up cause it was making a noise from touching... to put it on and line it all up you put the pucks on (but dont tighten them @ all) then you hook up the loop to the pucks.... then the back braces then you tighten everything down

Re: Bad FI-Cage

I bought the new style for my F4i when I built it a few months ago.
That thing was no where near ready to bolt on.I had to drill and tweak all night to get it to mount.

I think the template f4i had been in a 150mph wreck before the mock-up.

Re: Bad FI-Cage

never had a problem mounting my FI cage on my 6rr. not once was it even close to the exhaust. the only tight spot was putting the bolt throught he loop and the slider.
