Re: handbrakes and spreaders

not everyone. If you have good throttle control and can hit the spot right you can use engine breaking. Hand brakes came well after people were doing spreaders or high chair wheelies.

Yah, it's a lie. Nobody ever stunted a trick where you can't reach the foot brake without a handbrake before. Never happened. I was just seeing if I could fool everybody.

Re: handbrakes and spreaders

are you talking throttle control just when sprocketed up, or stock sprocket gonna give you enough engine brake to not have to worry about it, i mean, i know you can stunt any super bike stock, but for someone who is just learning (me) and sux ***, stock sprocket throttle control enough?

Re: handbrakes and spreaders

All of us were just learning at some point and most of us didn't have the option of getting a handbrake cause they hadn't been used in stunting yet.....I learned highchairs and spreaders on a stock r6.

youron a 900RR......one of the old school stunters. learn throttle control cause u gonna need it wheather u have a hand brake or not

Sprockets do add more engine braking than stock but you can still loop.

if you want to learn how to ride with a handicap than do that.. it would be better w/o a hb to learn the basics so your not always relying on it and you learn to float the bike and use engine break

"back in my day"

there was this big cat named JT holt on a yellow zx7r rockin spreaders a lane wide down the freeway for days without a handbrake....

spreaders are older than Darius' jokes... way before handbrakes
