the danger was what made it fun. when was teh last time you got an adrenaline rush from dong a highchair?

I have one, and I love it, and its lots of fun, but I still think it ruined the sport. Its not stunting anymore, its just doing tricks

Depending on how you want to set it up, racing905 has a kit. I'm sure others have one too.

I have their mounting bracket, purchased a used caliper off e-bay, got a steel breaded line. All I need is a second master cylinder and a perch and I'm good to go.

Re: handbrakes and spreaders

it's not killing the sport... but it's all in HOW you use it...

A lot of guys abuse the HB and make their riding look boring, and never bother to learn throttle control (which is fine with me, its just a part of their game they are lacking) let one of these young bucks come to me and tell me they can outstunt me (cause they have a HB and every trick they do uses it) I'll simply say, longest one-hand HC/SS/etc wins... and watch him chop-chop-chop his way to losing or wrecking!!! LOL

I'm not going to give away all the secrets, but like i said, it's all in how you use it... and anyone that has seen me (or someone that knows how to use a HB the right way ie Teach-Rick payne-etc) at a show can vouch for that... you can use a HB and still keep the fans excited and on the edge of their seat!!!

sorry, then I don't know. Gonna have to rig that ***** up. Ask in the how-to section. I know several people have done this prior to the kits being available.

+1 big time, you can't put on a good show in a large area and only be pulling of HB tricks it just looks Boring and "SAFE" to the crowd they want to see SPEED and DANGER!!! you need all aspects covered....Nice post.

I do but I don't touch it in tank tricks that much, just try to ride BP and use the engine braking unless it's a trick where you need the HB
