i am glad the kawasaki finally came to they senses, never was a need for a 36cc increase, it wassnt any faster than the 600.

dunno what suzuki was thinkin with duals.... when you get a ftermarket 4-2-1, it might have stock previsions still on the other side, and it will decrease the weight by 20lbs. hopefully it will still be balanced.
have you ever ridden one side by side with a new 600? Chances are you havent cause there is a big difference in the mid range. Paticularly on the street. Granted the top end wasnt stronger then most other 600's but it was easier and more enjoyable to ride around on the street....Which is why kawi did it and triumph fallowed.

Re: new bikes to tear up for 07.

dude after reading about the new gsxr1000 on that site something tells me that pretty soon riders in CALI will have ot pass fukcin SMOG!!!!!

"To counter the significant weight increase, Suzuki is boasting about improved aerodynamics (similar to the 2006 GSX-R600 and 750 bikes). With dual mufflers, it is likely that a large weight reduction could be had with a four-into-one aftermarket exhaust system (20 pounds or more). Keep in mind that all the new sportbikes are having to contend with more stringent emission requirements, including 2008 California rules."

wtf??!?!?!

The new gsxr 1000 has traction control. 3 modes I think. I like the gsxr and the kawi but not the honda, its like they ran out of ideas and peiced together a suzuki and yamaha.

traction control on a bike is ridicilous..

and how did honda run out of ideas.. they rounded out hte 600rr body thats it

they didnt copy nobody.

if anybody copied its the rest of companys copying the 600rr undertail exhaust and the 600rr i believe was the 1st that had undertail

chances are that i have, smart ***.... and that **** sucks. i rev the **** outta my bikes so i am never in the mid range, mid range is for squids.... and a excuse to validate the bike for the street. any normal person who doesnt give a **** about revving the bike knows that the mid range only takes you off form the stoplight. i dont care about riding around on the street in 4th and 5th gear. i rarely leave 2nd on the street, so pretty much.... the kawi sucked. hence the 600cc version, and now the 600cc through all models. for stunting, the 636 would be cool, but aint like anyother bike's powerplant isnt better.........

no it is not!!! have you ridden any of the current 600's??? let-alone the liter bikes... my r6 spins em everywhere on the track, the 06 that is. i can only imagine what the new liters do, so traction control is a must. they were gonna put TC on the 06 r6, but they will be on the 07 model. glad they didnt put it on though, i like an interesting lifestyle

doubt that is what the new thow-wow will look like, that photo chop has been out for months! it is a mix of the benellini, and many other bikes. why would the front fairing be so small??? makes for alot of resistance i would think....

Does anyone have anymore pictures or information regarding the GSX-R 1000 for 2007. I saw the pictures above but was wondering if anyone has found anymore...I found this one but I have a feeling its probably fake...That would be wierd if it had a underneath the seat exhaust and a side one dont you think?

that was supposed to be what the new look was.... but obviously it is a photochop, and it didnt make it. but that is what it was looking like on paper. then they decided to go with the dual system, and clean up the aeros. to the avail of what you see today.

Chances are smart *** that you are on a board full of squids, and yes I like to ride around with out redlining my bike everwhere. The reason for leaving the 636 behind is that in order to compete in superstock they must have a production bike that is 600cc's or less and thats why they sold the zx6rr. When you sell only a few of them to people who race it makes it less profitable to keep making parts for them since they wont really sell many things that are zx6rr spacific, and the majority of the parts are for 636's. So say for instance a guy that races in a stock class blows his motor and buys a new one from kawi, since kawi only sells say 200 a year there production costs are higher then on the 636 if say they sold 600 a year. Get ride of the 636 and then when someone on a production bike blows something up or breaks it regardless of if its on the street track or stunted then they are all going to be buying the same parts.
