to liter or not to liter

When i started riding sportbikes, my buddy was ridin a new gixxer 1K. He is a racer and doesn't stunt at all. I cruise with him on my 600, and of course end up behind him doin 130 down SC31. This got me thinkin that I might want to step up to a liter bike, preferably a gixxer.

Since I couldn't beat him straight line, I started stuntin small, skitchen, ridin on the tank, and tryin like hell to ride a decent whoolie. Now, after bein here for a while, I've kinda decided against a gixer because of the frame issues

I still think I might want a 1000 though cuz it seems like you gotta abuse the 600 to get the wheel up. I might be tryin to compensate for experience with horsepower though. Is the YZF600R a viable stunt bike, or should I step up to a 1000? How does the YZF compare to the F4i?

Re: to liter or not to liter

get the f4i strongest thing ever. and you dont need to abuse the 600 to get it up. and the f4i is going to be a little easier to learn on and is going to be able to take more abuse from lleaning how to stunt than a 1000.

Check out a 954. One of the best stunt bikes out there. Not only does it wheelie great, but the bike is extremely fast and nimble!

Re: to liter or not to liter

k pretty much if you wanna kill highways and **** step it up to a thou. if you wanna jerk off circles in a lot get a 600. please god dont get an f4i, parts arent cheap no mo, and the fi system pretty much blows.

I can testify to 05 gsxrs being pretty neato bikes, no frame issues here, ive slammed down a few idles ****ing with circles and ****, and launched many a stoppie so yeah. **** tha hatas

Re: to liter or not to liter

its not the frame thats so bad on the new gixxers its the subframes that are garbage and the rims are real weak too. older gixxers have **** frames but better subframes. but still a decent bike to stunt if you take some precautions.

Re: to liter or not to liter

if it's gotta clutch, you don't have to "abuse" anything to get the front wheel up.
